Emerson acquires Innovative Control Systems, Inc.

Clifton Park, N.Y. June 30, 2010 - ICS becomes a part of the Power and Water Solutions division of Emerson Process Management (emersonprocess-powerwater.com) but will continue to keep the ICS name as a center of excellence for defined combustion control applications. ICS and Emerson have decided on acquisition based on the strength of the synergy between the two organizations and the future potential. Emerson provides ICS the strength of a large parent company recognized as a leading global automation solution provider to power generation and industrial process industries. This provides a solid foundation upon which ICS will grow and expand its turbine controls business.
